Project Description

I served as the instructional designer for the Mid-Career Financial Strategies for Educators course developed in partnership with Horace Mann, leading the end-to-end design and development process from initial SME collaboration through final deployment. I translated complex financial literacy content into structured, learner-centered modules designed specifically for mid-career educators, aligning instruction with adult learning theory and instructional design best practices.

My responsibilities included facilitating ongoing SME collaboration to refine and organize course content, developing a clear instructional framework and engaging learning activities in Articulate Rise, and ensuring strong alignment between learning objectives, assessments, and instructional materials. I also applied iterative design practices by conducting detailed QA reviews focused on accessibility, functionality, and instructional clarity.

Throughout the project, I worked closely with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to ensure the course met organizational standards while delivering an engaging, practical, and accessible learning experience tailored to the real-world financial needs of professional educators.
